Hyderabad: HYDRAA’s crackdown on illegal constructions continues as it demolishes encroachments in Madhapur. DRF (Disaster Response Force) personnel are demolishing a 5-storey building that was illegally constructed at 100 Feet Road in Ayyappa Society in Madhapur on Sunday, using bulldozers.

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) had issued notices to the building’s owners last year, and the High Court subsequently declared the structure illegal. Hydraa Commissioner Ranganath inspected the site on Saturday, and demolition began the following day.

As the building is located next to the main road, power supply was cut off, and police ensured smooth traffic management during the operation.
