Former EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa and ex-TOWIE cast member Dan Osborne have gone their separate ways after being “rocked by their fair share of scandals”
EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa and her husband Dan Osborne have called time on their marriage. The actress, 32, is reportedly staying in the family home with their children, while Dan has moved into a new place close by.
The separation comes just months after the couple were reportedly taken aback by rumours of a split. Despite denying any breakup in January, it seems the pair, who have faced ongoing speculation about their relationship, have now decided to part ways.
In a statement, it was shared that “Jacqueline and Dan are handling things privately, choosing to keep their lives and relationship out of the public eye,” and continued, “They kindly ask for respect and privacy as they navigate this together. Their children remain their top priority, surrounded by love and care from both parents – something that will never change. Above all, Jacqueline and Dan have each other’s and their children’s best interests at heart. There will be no further comment.”

A source close to the couple revealed: “Jacqueline and Dan are on a break and are spending time apart from each other. It’s not been easy for them lately and they have made this difficult decision.” The source also noted that the future is uncertain for Jac and Dan, but the break was “needed”, reports the Mirror.
According to a source speaking to The Sun, the couple are “amicable” as they navigate their issues. The source also confirmed that there are no external factors contributing to their decision, only their own relationship dynamics.
“Jac and Dan have faced their share of controversies, but this situation is unrelated to that,” the source stated.
In 2022, Dan was noticeably absent from Jacqueline’s Easter-themed social media posts, and she was no longer wearing her wedding ring. However, sources dismissed speculation, claiming the couple was “happier than ever” and that Dan was simply “busy” during the holiday.
Jacqueline, known for her role as Lauren Branning on EastEnders, and Dan, a star of The Only Way Is Essex, tied the knot in 2017 at a Cheshire manor house. They have two daughters, Ella (9) and Mia (6), and Dan has a son, Tommy (11), from a previous relationship.
Earlier this year, their family home was listed for sale, with reports indicating that Dan had purchased a nearby property in his own name. Last year, Jacqueline shared a rare glimpse into their marriage, addressing allegations of infidelity against Dan and another rumored split.
Jacqueline Jossa took to Instagram last year to share a heartfelt tribute to her relationship with husband Daniel Osborne, alongside some sweet photographs of the couple. She wrote: “Just realised I haven’t even posted on the grid about Daniel’s bday or our anniversary and I just wanted to do a little appreciation post for my bestest friend in the world. Over 10 years and 7 of them married. Love you more than ever. Crazy little world isn’t it. Also it’s crazy how little photos we take now. Need more! !”
The couple has had their fair share of drama since they began dating back in 2015. Scandal first struck when Dan was accused of sending inappropriate texts to a famous model.
Further allegations emerged over time, including accusations of infidelity with former Love Island star Gabby Allen – claims which have caused significant strain in the marriage. Despite the turbulence, Jacqueline has always claimed she worked through the problems with Dan.
It was reported that while appearing on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, Jacqueline considered leaving the show after receiving news regarding Dan’s alleged indiscretions from another campmate. However, rather than exiting the reality series, she was briefly permitted to send a voicemail to Dan.
