Hamas has released three more hostages in the Gaza Strip as part of the latest prisoner exchange with Israel, live television images showed on Saturday.

The hostages – named as Eli Sharabi, Or Levy, and Ohad Ben Ami – were handed over to the Red Cross and taken away in Red Cross vans, after being paraded in front of the Palestinian crowd by Hamas fighters.

Israel is due to release 183 Palestinian prisoners in return for the three hostages.

During the first six-week phase of a ceasefire agreement to halt the war in Gaza, 33 Israeli hostages in total are due to be released in exchange for 1,904 Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli prisons.
