The White Lotus has been confirmed for a fourth season and fans are already convinced that showrunner Mike White has dropped a major hint about who will be returning

The creator of The White Lotus, Mike White, may have already dropped a clue about which cast member could be returning in the fourth season.
HBO’s hugely popular murder mystery satire has tracked three distinct groups of wealthy guests at resorts across the globe – Hawaii, Italy and Thailand.
Although the drama is primarily an anthology series with a fresh set of characters each season, Greg Hunt (portrayed by Jon Gries) has been a consistent character throughout all three seasons.
Furthermore, Greg’s hapless and incredibly rich wife, Tanya McQuoid (Jennifer Coolidge), featured in the first two seasons before her character was killed off in the second season, reports the Mirror US.
Additionally, the most recent season saw the return of spa manager Belinda Lindsey (Natasha Rothwell), who recognised Greg but accepted a substantial bribe to remain silent about his involvement in Tanya’s death.
Despite Greg escaping punishment again in the third season, fans are anticipating that the storyline will continue in some way, with at least one recurring cast member appearing in another White Lotus location.
Viewers now believe that showrunner White has hinted at the comeback of Victoria Ratliff (Parker Posey) when the series returns for its already confirmed fourth season.
In an exclusive behind-the-scenes chat released subsequent to Sunday’s (6th April) gripping finale on HBO, White delved into the fate of the Ratliff clan, now left in ruins following the exposure of Timothy’s (Jason Isaacs) sketchy embezzlement activities.
“It’s kind of a bittersweet ending where life goes on past this personal valley,” he divulged. “But what’s going to happen to them without all their comforts…?
“I don’t think Victoria is someone who can live in poverty. I’m sure she can find some other solution.”
The character of Victoria had earlier confessed her fear to Timothy about the possibility of survival without wealth.
She might have to adapt to a simpler lifestyle shortly, yet a tantalising hint from Mike suggests she may have another plan up her sleeve to maintain her opulent existence.
Amidst this and showrunner comments hinting that there’s more to come for the Ratliffs, fans are buzzing with the theory that Posey will reprise her role as Victoria, regardless if it involves Timothy or her family.
On Reddit, one enthusiast speculated: “Mike White’s allusion that she’ll figure it out (Victoria) gives me hope she’s in S4.”
